Indie feline adventure Little Kitty, Big City has crossed two major milestones after less than two weeks on sale, which will likely make developer Double Dagger Studio very happy indeed.
Earlier today, the studio announced that its adorable open-world sandbox game has crossed a million Game Pass players, which isn't surprising given that it's one of the highlights of May's Game Pass lineup.
Over the weekend, Double Dagger also revealed that Little Kitty, Big City has passed the 200,000 sales mark. It took the game just a little over a week to achieve that goal, which is pretty impressive.

The sales figure is even more commendable given that it's in addition to the game's Game Pass player count, which means 200,000 players knew Little Kitty, Big City was available via Game Pass and bought it anyway.
I'm not surprised Little Kitty has proven so popular; it's a very sweet little game with arguably the cutest protagonist since Stray's little friend. If you're a big fan of cats, you need to check it out.
If you're unfamiliar with Little Kitty, Big City, it's a sandbox adventure game set in an unnamed city (which looks very much like it's somewhere in Japan, given its structure and features like painted manhole covers).
One day, while you're napping in your favorite spot just outside your highrise apartment's window, you find yourself plummeting to the ground (painlessly!), and you must find your way home, all while interacting with a cast of colorful and quirky animal characters.
Activities you can engage with in Little Kitty include batting plant pots off ledges, playing with your own tail, and causing humans to drop their stuff so you can steal it for your own nefarious feline purposes.
Little Kitty, Big City is available right now on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. It's also available via Game Pass on both PC and Xbox.
